1. Pray for Supernatural Wisdom and Discernment
Ask the Lord to grant each LWGLM Board member supernatural wisdom—not merely human intelligence, but divine discernment—to make decisions that align with God’s will and advance the mission of the ministry.
Scripture: “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault.” — James 1:5
2. Pray for Integrity and Spiritual Health
Pray for the integrity and spiritual health of the Board as a whole. Ask that every member will walk in transparency, accountability, humility, and Christlike character, both publicly and privately.
Scripture: “The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart.” — Psalm 15:2
3. Pray for Their Personal Lives and Families
Ask the Lord to preserve the personal lives of every Board member—their families, health, finances, emotional wellbeing, and spiritual vitality. Pray that they will serve from a place of strength, grace, and healthy balance rather than exhaustion or pressure.
Scripture: “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you.” — Numbers 6:24–25
4. Pray for Unity and Spirit-Led Consensus
Pray for genuine unity among the Board members. May their different perspectives, experiences, and gifts be woven together in wisdom, humility, and mutual respect, producing Spirit-led decisions that serve the purposes of God.
Scripture: “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” — Ephesians 4:3
1. Pray for Deeper Spiritual Hunger
Ask the Lord to deepen spiritual hunger in every ministry connected with LWGLM. Pray that the Word of God will remain their primary source of nourishment, direction, wisdom, and delight.
Scripture: “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” — Psalm 119:105
2. Pray Against Division and Doctrinal Strife
Pray against division, unnecessary conflict, and doctrinal strife among affiliated ministries. Ask God to cultivate humility, mutual honour, spiritual maturity, and a shared commitment to biblical truth.
Scripture: “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had.” — Romans 15:5
3. Pray for Christian Bodies in Nigeria
Pray for Christian bodies and networks in Nigeria, including CAN, PFN, and other Christian associations and ministries. Ask God to strengthen their unity, wisdom, courage, and clarity as they serve the Church and contribute to the wellbeing of society.
Scripture: “Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?” — Amos 3:3
4. Pray for Kingdom-Centred Collaboration
Pray that collaboration between LWGLM and partner organisations will produce Kingdom outcomes that would be difficult for any single organisation to achieve independently.
Ask God to connect ministries with complementary gifts, resources, expertise, and opportunities so that their collective impact will extend further and reach more people.
Scripture: “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9
“Your gatherings are not mere meetings, but moments of divine alignment. Every Spirit-led decision you make carries influence beyond the room and shapes outcomes beyond what is seen. Handle your stewardship with reverence and clarity.”
We declare that the leadership of LWGLM will be marked by wisdom, humility, integrity, accountability, and spiritual discernment.
May every Board member receive grace for the responsibility entrusted to them. May their decisions advance the purposes of God, their families remain strengthened, and their lives reflect the character of Christ.
May the ministries associated with LWGLM walk in unity, truth, love, and fruitful collaboration, bringing lasting Kingdom impact to Nigeria and the nations.
